At least two more explosive devices have been found near the scene of the Boston marathon explosions, detonated on April 15. Police suspect these three bombings may be acts of terrorism. At least 64 people were injured and two have been reported dead.
Following Boston’s horrific bombings on April 15, new devices are currently being dismantled after they were found inside Boston’s Mandarin and Lenox hotels. It’s unclear what these devices may be, but they’re believes to be explosives.
Boston Marathon Bombs Found
The Boston Globe tweeted, “UPDATE: Intelligence official: 2 more explosive devices found at Boston Marathon; being dismantled,” which was reported by Associated Press.
The motive behind these bombings is not clear, but police are citing a possible terrorist attack. It is an ongoing investigation.
The Braintree Police tweeted on April 15, "Explosion at finish. Walking with group. Complete Choas. Possible terrorist attack. 2 explo. 671 Boylston St outside the Boston Public Library-Large crime scene being established-MCI being declared. Numerous serious injuries."
At least 64 people were injured and two have been reported dead as a result of these horrific explosions that occurred during the final line of the Boston marathon on April 15. The first two explosions were reported to have gone off at Copley Square, in downtown Boston, and a third occurred at JFK Library.
