Kim Kardashian was one of many who tweeted out their condolences to those involved in the terrible explosions at the Boston marathon on April 15. However, she was later attacked on Twitter when she posted a tweet promoting her mom’s new QVC line. Fair or foul?

When Kim Kardashian reminded her Twitter followers to watch her mom Kris Jenner on QVC tonight, her fans completely tore her apart, as it seemed insensitive to the terrible explosions in Boston.

Kim Kardashian: Boston Marathon Attack

“Check out @krisjenner on @QVC’s PM Style Show at 7PM EST tonight!” Kim tweeted in the midst of the horrible explosions that occurred in Boston. Quickly thereafter, her followers responded — and they weren’t happy with the reality star.

One tweet read: “America is in the midst of a tragedy right now. F— you.”

Another similarly responded: “WE DNT GIVE A F— RIGHT NOW KIM.”

Shortly after Kim’s tweet, her mom Kris followed her lead.

“Dolls! Don't miss me tonight at 8pm ET on @QVC! I’m debuting my gorg new scoopneck tunic on PM Style!! Join me!” Kris wrote on her Twitter, receiving a backlash just like Kim.

While those promotional tweets may have been timed, some still don’t find it acceptable.

One tweet read: “this isn’t the time for self promotion. Please unschedule your tweets.”

Kris & Kim First Sent Out Prayers To Boston

Before tweeting about her mother’s appearance on QVC, Kim did share her sadness for the tragic explosions, writing “My heart is breaking for everyone effected or injured in the explosion at the Boston Marathon. God bless you all! My prayers are with you!”

Her message received over 5,000 retweets.

“My heart and thoughts and prayers go out to all those at the Boston Marathon,” Kris also posted.

So, HollywoodLifers, do you think it was insensitive of Kris and Kim to tweet about a fashion line during such a terrible time? Vote below!
